Background
In the first ten years of his career, David worked on the family farm in the mid north of South Australia. He then completed a business degree at the University of South Australia as a mature-aged student.

David went on to work for one of Australia’s largest seafood wholesalers, selling product within Australia and subsequently into Europe. He later held a role as Sales Manager for a division of AWA that serviced mining and transport companies, before joining the Century Group as General Manager. He is presently Managing Director and controlling shareholder of the Century Group.

In his current role, David is continually changing the business model of the Century Group. Century is expanding as a result of developing capability and entering new markets and expanding the group via business acquisition. Through Century Engineering and Liquitek the Group provides design, engineering, and manufacturing solutions and also water treatment services to some of Australia’s critical asset owners in mining, defence and power and water utilities in Australia.

David is also involved in community organisations providing services to sport and business.
