In 2015, I had the privilege of attending the London Business School Executive Education Leadership Programme, thanks to the generous support of the Industry Leaders Fund. I chose London Business School for its global reputation for excellence and its focus on leadership in a fast-evolving business environment. At the time, I was the first South Australian to attend this programme via the Industry Leaders Fund and was excited to learn from a leading global business school.
The programme was a blend of academic theory with real-world application. I gained valuable insights into leadership styles, strategic decision-making, team dynamics, and leading change. The diverse, global cohort enhanced the learning experience and provided a variety of perspectives that helped refine my leadership skills. The practical tools and frameworks I gained have been directly applicable to my role and have enhanced my ability to manage teams and drive innovation. The relationships I built during the programme have proven to be incredibly valuable and remain a key part of my professional network.
Overall, attending this programme has had a lasting impact on my leadership approach. I am grateful to the Industry Leaders Fund for making this opportunity possible. The skills and lessons I gained continue to shape how I lead today, and I look forward to applying them in future challenges.
