Course:
Advanced Management and Leadership Program

Grateful for the ILF Board offering me this opportunity, as I consider myself a “mature” student and in the autumn of my career. The experience at Oxford though was truly valuable and underlines the importance of lifelong learning.

The intake process of this particular program ensures that all participants, despite being from a very varied background, operate on a similar level in terms of experience & maturity. This in turn ensures that the interaction (e.g. group work) with the cohort, and course lecturers & facilitators becomes enriching and a learning for all – from all.

It was a luxury having three uninterrupted weeks to emerge in the OAMLP program and allow yourself the time & reflection to take it all in, and more important how to utilise it. It offers perspective. The program is more balanced than what I initially expected and offers a very effective combination of academic information & insights, and personal development.

All aspects of what a good business entails are brough together with the top academics in their field sharing their research and knowledge in areas like Strategy, Innovation, Automation, People & Culture and the world at large. In other words, how all aspects of a business and the environment it operates in interrelate, and the role that you play in shaping & driving this.

I walked away after three weeks with a clarity of purpose and recalibrated plan on what needed to change to drive the business to the desired outcome.
