Monday 11 December	ILFSN YEAR END NETWORK FUNCTION Held at the Adelaide Town Hall, the event marked one of the highest-attended festive gatherings in our history, bringing together a dynamic community of 80 Scholars. A celebration of individual and company successes this past year, the event served as a bridge to connect with our new cohort of Scholars, who are set to embark on their ILF-supported professional development journeys over the coming years.
Tuesday 28 November	2023 EXCLUSIVE SCHOLAR MASTERCLASS Hosted by Michael Masterson and held at Kain Lawyers.
Monday 23 October	INVESTING IN UNCERTAIN TIMES ILF scholars were up bright and early for breakfast at the Adelaide Town Hall, to hear from David Bassanese, Chief Economist from Betashares who came across from Sydney to update scholars on the changing state of global economic affairs and the impact on business and investment outlooks. David addressed key questions posed by scholars, covering supply/demand of labour, energy, transition of robotics/AI, inflation, productivity and geopolitical impacts on equities markets worldwide.
Friday 16 June	BUSINESS VALUE MAXIMISATION Convened by Chantale Millard (ILF2017), this popular event gathered a series of panels to share experiences and insights on building successful businesses despite setbacks. Keynote speaker Jim Whalley captivated the audience with candid and entertaining stories of Nova Systems’ growth journey. Panel discussions delved into crucial aspects such as markets, culture, finances, risk and governance, featuring a compelling case study on the rise of local manufacturer Kelly Tillage.
Wednesday 10 May	THE GREEN ECONOMY WITH GÖRAN ROOS At this breakfast event hosted by William Buck, attendees discovered the critical importance of adapting business models to embrace the Green Economy’s demands. Guided by the expertise of internationally renowned Innovator and strategist Professor Göran Roos, the session emphasised the need for South Australian manufacturers to take immediate action in aligning their businesses with the evolving requirements of national and global supply chains.
Tuesday 2 May	ILF APPLICANT INFORMATION EVENING ILF Scholars Michaela Webster (ILF2021), Charlie Sykes (ILF2018), Stephen Moss (ILF2022) and Tom Hastwell (ILF2022) took the stage to share their course choices and valuable experiences from previous years at the 2023 applicant info night. The Lumination-hosted event offered valuable insights into course content from leading education providers, helping potential applicants find the best fit for their leadership careers.
Wednesday 5 April	ILFSN ANNUAL SHOWCASE The ILF community gathered at the Thebarton learning lab of immersive tech giant Lumination for the Scholars Network second annual showcase. Sponsored by William Buck, the event lived up to lofty expectations on the back of last year’s inaugural showcase – providing a stellar night of networking, fine food and fabulous drinks.
Monday 13 February	CYBER ATTACKS: DEMYSTIFYING THE GREAT UNKNOWN Amidst the heightened media attention on cyber security events impacting major organisations, ILF Scholars flocked to this highly relevant event at Lot Fourteen. Coordinated by Alexei Fey (ILF2020), CEO of Comunet, the event featured an exceptional speaker panel offering valuable insights into the complexities of the cyber landscape for businesses of all sizes.
