HOUSEHUNTERS looking to make Sunset estate, at Port Noarlunga South, their home can buy a house-and-land package from January 12.

The $215m project is being built by Hickinbotham Group.

The 42ha development – comprising more than 600 homes – aims to address the need for housing in the southern suburbs and support the population growth.

Hickinbotham Group’s managing director, Michael Hickinbotham, pictured, said the development would have an affordable housing allocation and there would be plenty of open green spaces.

“One of the key features of the development is a major north-south green walking trail that will connect to the Onkaparinga River Recreation Park,” Mr Hickinbotham said.

“Young people have traditionally flocked to the outer metropolitan suburbs where allotments offer better value for money and generous sizes for growing families.”

House-and-land packages start from $421,586.
