Course: New Leaders Development Program
The process of applying to the Industry Leaders Fund was beneficial as it gave me a chance to reflect on my career, skills and knowledge. I was proud to be awarded a grant for my preferred course “New Leaders Development Program” at Mt Eliza Business School.
The New Leaders Development Program opened my eyes to management tools and practices which had eluded me in my professional career as an engineer. The course covered skills such as, managing conflict, communication, delegation, time management, leadership/coaching and management of change. The venue was beautiful and the course teachers were excellent.
For me the best part about being awarded an ILF grant has been the ILF Scholars Network. The network provides professional development and networking opportunities such as mentoring, training seminars, social events and functions.
