Institution: Stanford Graduate School of Business (USA)
Course: The Leading Change & Organisational Renewal Program
The ILF was recommended to me by a colleague of mine, and Geoff Vogt’s approach and professionalism further encouraged me to apply. After a solid application process, a generous grant was awarded to me, enabling my participation in the Leading Change and Organisational Renewal program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. This opportunity has been transformative and will continue to have a positive impact.
The program at Stanford provided me with invaluable insights into the complexities of leading change within organisations. The curriculum, which combined innovative research with practical applications, equipped me with the tools and strategies necessary to drive innovation and manage organisational transformation effectively. The diverse cohort of participants and the esteemed faculty created a rich learning environment that fostered collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
One of the most significant takeaways from the program was the emphasis on adaptive ambidextrous leadership, to exploit and explore opportunities at the same time and the importance of fostering a culture of continuous growth. The case studies and interactive sessions highlighted real-world challenges and solutions, allowing me to develop a deeper understanding of the dynamics of change management. I have already begun to implement these learnings within my organisation, and the positive impact is evident.
The commitment of the ILF to fostering leadership development in South Australia is outstanding, and I am honoured to be a beneficiary of their vision. The knowledge and skills I have developed because of this opportunity have benefited my professional growth and the cohort from around the world have stayed in touch and are amazing.
Thank you, Geoff and Suzi, for your encouragement and support. I look forward to staying connected with the Industry Leaders Fund and contributing to its mission in any way I can.
