Course: Transformative Leadership Program in Adelaide & Texas
I was introduced to the ILF by Shaun Westcott, a previous scholar and the current ILFSN Committee Chairman. He encouraged me to apply and connected me with Geoff Vogt, who generously supported me throughout the process. My passion for personal development and the opportunity to join a network of South Australian leaders making a difference in our state and beyond drew me to apply for an ILF grant.
The Transformative Leadership Program (TLP), presented by Andrew Stevens and Barry Bales and offered by Adelaide University PACE, came highly recommended, especially as I was on the path to a senior leadership role in a complex industry. I attended TLP in 2022. No words on an advertising brochure can truly capture how incredible the TLP experience was. It equipped me with practical knowledge, skills, and tools to lead more effectively in an increasingly complex and unpredictable world. The program took me on a journey of self-exploration, discovery, and transformation, both as a person and as a leader. I emerged as a version of myself that I hope can better serve the people, communities, and world around me.
More than two years later, our TLP cohort still meets every six weeks to ‘check-in.’ Additionally, a group of alumni from the past decade, eager for more, created TLP2, which I attended in 2023.
I am incredibly grateful for the lifelong gift provided by the ILF grant, the ILF community, and the TLP program. If you’re considering applying, do it! You won’t regret it.
